"When horses are travelling and competing in events, they quite often go for long periods of time without forage which can increase acid build up in the stomach. Also, competition days can be long and stressful - another factor that can cause extra acid production. This excess acid can splash over the wall of the stomach during competition (especially when jumping and galloping during a cross country phase) potentially leading to gastric ulcers developing. Equine 74 Gastric will act as a highly effective buffer to soak up excess acid, helping to reduce these risks. Its should also help the horse to feel more comfortable and able to perform to their best ability"
